Old Business
Strassenfest – A general discussion was conducted reviewing the weekend. Everyone felt that it was a good turnout for both pilots and visitors. The weather certainly helped with the general public showing up. It was suggested to send some of the pictures from Strassenfest Fun Fly to our District rep, Frank Roales (sp) . A volunteer has not stepped up yet to do so
1. A discussion on how to increase our events to be even more popular with pilots and general public awareness followed. Some of the things discussed were:1. AMA Sanctioned events – this would require some things to happen, such as having a Contest Director and that person taking the AMA procedures tests (Open book
2. Creating a position of Public Relations Officer to work on the events that would co-exist or augment some of the non-profit organizations such Relay for Life etc. and to get media attention for the club and public awareness and interest. No decisions made other than to discuss further at next meeting
New Business

Cub scout day was not discussed since Gary was not available to give a report on his discussions with them about rescheduling for this fall. Tabled until Gary can report on his findings or if he and the Scout leader decided something
Doug Lukemeyer will get materials to build ramp and Roger and Larry will assist in building and installing ramp
Sometime when several members of the club are at the airfield, new zip ties will need to be added/replaced on the windsock. One has broken and we need to get it repaired before things tear
A discussion was held regarding putting vents in the storage building. It was decided at this time to not install any.
Larry will donate a combination lock for the storage building. Thanks you Larry
